Kindergarten

In kindergarten we have started to learn about "feelings". In the next few weeks we will be practicing the vocabulary you see in this video. Please ask your child to sing along and together spot words that they know and you will be surprised to find out how excited they are to share it in Spanish. Enjoy!

1st grade

David va al colegio is one of my favorite stories to begin the school year. This book will help reinforce vocabulary that will be useful in our classroom. Please ask your child to spot words that they recognize in Spanish from this book. We also had the opportunity to act out this story in class and the kids had tons of fun with it. Enjoy!

¡Un Nuevo Año! ~A New Year!

As we begin a new school year in Spanish class. We will be doing lots of reviewing with fun activities in class to "turn on" the Spanish channels back on. For the new students this year, we will get to know each other in the target language and we will follow routines that will enable us to understand each other.
